ABOUT RED RIVER YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE
The purpose of RRYFL shall be to teach the fundamentals of football. The youth sports program of RRYFL shall be developed and organized to ensure, as well as to enhance, the emotional, physical, social and educational well-being of children. The program shall promote the ideals of responsibility, hard work, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fellowship in youth while instructing the game of football in a positive and safe environment. The individual growth of the youth in our community will be enhanced through the spirit of competition, discipline, and fair play. We will accomplish these goals by providing a program that maintains the highest standards and seeking out coaches and other volunteers willing to teach and exemplify these same principles.

SAFETY FIRST: We purchase accident insurance for all players at the beginning of the season and have at least one person trained in CPR/First Aid at every game. We do a background check on coaches and require them to pass courses related to concussions, heat illness, tackling safety, etc. to ensure they are properly educated and trained.

VALUE: We are the only league who does not have entry/gate fees for the regular season games. (Usually 8-10 games completely FREE to enter) To celebrate our 49th season as a well-established youth football league, we are offering the lowest registration fees around for the first 49 days of registration. Our kids each get a high quality customized Champro jersey with their name on the back for the regular season. We provide the very best youth football experience around with an inflatable run through tunnel shaped like a helmet with a fog machine and laser lights, professional game day play-by-play announcers, Player of the Week awards/plaques, playoff medals, 1st and 2nd place Superbowl trophies for each child on the team, custom All-Star jerseys and 1st and 2nd place All-Star rings for each child on the team. If you miss a game, have family members or friends who can't attend in person, want to re-watch a game at anytime in the future, do a film study with your team, and/or watch for player development/improvement, we film and post our games on our RRYFL YouTube channel for you to enjoy. PROFESSIONALISM: We have a hard-working and experienced group of men and women on our Board of Directors who are elected yearly and proudly represent all of our local and surrounding areas. All of our board members are leaders in our local community and some even hold high level college degrees in areas such as business administration and teaching and work with children daily in their careers.

FLEXIBILITY: Regular season games are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Saturdays so your child's games will not ALWAYS be on the same day each week. We also take into consideration local high school homecoming activities/games, holidays, community events, and such things as major hunting dates when making our season schedules.
